Sell your Vanilla Visa coupon
Giftreo buys Vanilla Visa prepaid cards at 95% of the balance — a flat 5% fee, the same on every coupon we take — paid in cryptocurrency. A 100 USD card pays out 95.00 USD; a 25 USD card pays out 23.75 USD. We take USD cards of 25, 50 and 100, including part-spent cards priced on what remains. Payment normally arrives about an hour after the card details have been verified.

A Vanilla Visa is a US prepaid debit card rather than a store gift card: it spends anywhere Visa is accepted in the country that issued it, up to a fixed load of 25, 50 or 100 USD, and it cannot be reloaded. That flexibility is also how balances get stranded. The card is given to someone outside the United States, a purchase declines because the total is larger than what is left, or a fuel pump or hotel places a hold that blocks the card for days.
Because the card cannot be topped up, an awkward remainder stays awkward: 12 USD is too little for most purchases and too irritating to split across two payment methods at a till. Selling clears the balance in one move. At 95%, the flat rate we pay on everything, a 100 USD card returns 95.00 USD and a 50 USD card returns 47.50 USD; the fee is 5%, so cashing out a full 100 USD card costs 5.00 USD. If your card holds a round balance and you shop in the US, spending it yourself is still worth full face value.
What to check before selling Vanilla Visa
Vanilla Visa has no PIN-style voucher code. What identifies it is the 16-digit card number, the expiry date, the three-digit CVV on the back and the billing ZIP it is registered to. All four are needed to price and process a sale, which makes this the most sensitive item we buy: those details are the money. Send them through the sell form only. Giftreo never asks for a card number by email, chat or DM, and any message that does is not from us.
Partial balances are normal and priced on what remains, not the printed load: 62.40 USD left pays 59.28 USD. Check the balance on the issuer's balance-check page before submitting, since a pending authorisation from an earlier purchase can make the card look emptier or fuller than it really is. Cards are rejected when they were never activated, when the expiry has passed, when the balance is zero, or when the registered ZIP cannot be supplied. Cards reported lost or stolen are refused, and only cards you own are accepted.
How to sell a Vanilla Visa coupon
- 1Check the remaining balance and expiry date on the issuer's balance-check page.
- 2Enter that balance in the sell form; the quote is 95% of it, so 47.50 USD on a card holding 50 USD.
- 3Submit the card number, expiry, CVV and registered ZIP through the form only, never by email, chat or DM.
- 4Add a wallet address for BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC, SOL or LTC; payment follows about an hour after the balance is verified.

Vanilla Visa resale: your questions
- Is selling a prepaid Visa card legal?
- Selling a card you legitimately own is ordinary commerce in most places. What we will not touch is a card obtained by fraud or reported stolen, and card details arriving from an unsolicited message are the classic sign of exactly that. The issuer's cardholder terms still apply to the card itself.
- The card only has a few dollars left. Do you still buy it?
- Yes, at the same 95%: 8 USD left pays 7.60 USD. Below a couple of dollars the crypto network fee starts to eat the payout, so the net figure is shown before you commit. The rate itself does not change with the size of the balance.
- Do I have to live in the United States to sell one?
- No. The card is a US product that only spends in the US, which is exactly why people outside the country want to cash one out. Payment goes to a crypto wallet, not a bank account, so your location does not restrict the payout. What matters is a genuine USD Vanilla Visa with a verifiable balance.
- Will you ask for identity documents?
- Not for a standard sale. We verify the card, not the seller, so there is no upload and no account. Larger or repeated submissions do get a question about where the cards came from before any payment leaves, and we decline when the explanation does not stand up. That is the whole policy, with no theatre attached.
- What if the card is declined at verification?
- You are told why: zero balance, expired, never activated, or blocked by the issuer. No payment is made, nothing is deducted, and the details are discarded. A pending hold from an earlier purchase can also cause it; once the hold clears, resubmit and the card is priced again.
✱ Selling safely
We only accept codes you legitimately own. Giftreo never contacts you to ask for a code by email or private message — if someone does, it is not us. Codes are sent over HTTPS to our verification desk and are never shown back to you in full.
