Sell your AstroPay coupon
Giftreo buys unused AstroPay vouchers at 95% of face value and pays in crypto: a flat 5% fee, the same on every coupon we take. A 100 USD voucher pays out 95.00 USD; a 50 USD voucher pays 47.50 USD. We accept USD and EUR codes in 10, 25, 50 and 100 face values. Payment goes out about an hour after the code passes verification.

An AstroPay voucher is a prepaid code used to fund wallets, gaming accounts, broker accounts and any merchant that lists AstroPay at checkout. You buy a fixed amount, you get a code, you enter it where AstroPay is supported. Its appeal is keeping a bank card out of the payment page, which is why it is heavily used in markets where paying a foreign site by card is awkward.
The same acceptance map that makes AstroPay useful is what leaves people holding codes they cannot spend. Platforms drop the method, accounts get closed or moved to another region, someone buys USD when the site bills in EUR, or the promotion the voucher was meant for ends before the code is entered. The code stays perfectly valid and completely useless to its owner. Selling it at 95% turns a stranded 100 USD voucher into 95.00 USD of crypto.
What to check before selling AstroPay
AstroPay codes are alphanumeric and locked to the currency they were issued in. We buy USD and EUR at a flat 95% in the 10, 25, 50 and 100 face values, and the payout is calculated in the voucher's own currency: a 25 EUR voucher pays 23.75 EUR, a 25 USD voucher pays 23.75 USD. Country restrictions sit on the redemption side rather than inside the code itself, which is exactly why AstroPay vouchers reach a resale desk more often than most prepaid brands.
Two AstroPay specifics matter if you are selling. First, some vouchers carry an expiry window, and an expired code has no balance to verify and no value to buy, so a code you will not use is worth selling sooner rather than later. Second, redemption is all or nothing into a balance: once the code has credited an account, the value has left the code regardless of what you did with the balance afterwards. Rejections trace to four causes almost every time, namely already redeemed, expired, mistyped, or flagged at the issuer.

- 2Enter the code and its face value in the sell form, along with a crypto address you control.

AstroPay resale: your questions
- Is it legal to sell an AstroPay voucher I am not going to use?
- Selling a prepaid voucher you own is a normal transfer of value. The requirement is ownership, and you confirm it when you submit. We do not buy codes forwarded to you unsolicited, recovered from someone else's inbox, or otherwise not yours to sell. If the provenance of a code is unclear to you, it is not a code to bring here.
- What happens if my code gets rejected?
- Nothing is charged and nothing is owed in either direction. We return the reason: already redeemed, expired, entered incorrectly, or blocked by the issuer. A mistyped code is worth resubmitting once, ideally copied from a photograph rather than retyped. The other three are final, because a code with no verified balance is not something we can pay for.
- How quickly is the crypto sent?
- Generally about an hour from the point the code clears verification. Checking the balance with the issuer is the part that varies; the transfer itself is fast. We send BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC, SOL or LTC to the address you supplied. Busy periods push this out, and we would rather state that than advertise a fixed time we cannot always hit.
- Which countries can sell here, and which currencies do you buy?
- Payout is in crypto to an address you control, so there is no bank routing and no country list on the seller side. What matters is the voucher: USD and EUR AstroPay codes at 95%. Vouchers in other AstroPay currencies are not bought at this rate. AstroPay not being accepted where you live is usually the reason you have a code to sell in the first place.
- Can I sell several codes, and will you ask for ID?
- You can sell several. Submit them one at a time so each code is verified and priced separately: three 100 USD vouchers at 95% come to 3 x 95.00, or 285.00 USD. No ID is required for an ordinary voucher sale. Note that Giftreo never requests a voucher code by email or direct message, so anyone contacting you that way is not us.
✱ Selling safely
We only accept codes you legitimately own. Giftreo never contacts you to ask for a code by email or private message — if someone does, it is not us. Codes are sent over HTTPS to our verification desk and are never shown back to you in full.
