Sell your GameStop coupon
Giftreo buys GameStop gift cards at 95% of face value — a flat 5% fee, the same on every card we take — and pays you in cryptocurrency. A 100 USD card pays out 95.00 USD, a 50 USD card pays 47.50 USD, and a 25 USD card pays 23.75 USD. We take USD GameStop cards, unused or partly spent, as long as you legitimately hold them. Payment goes out about an hour after the code is verified.

A GameStop gift card is store credit and nothing else. It spends in GameStop's US stores and on gamestop.com — new and pre-owned games, consoles, controllers, collectibles, apparel — and stops at the edge of that catalogue. It is not a platform wallet: it does not become Steam credit, PlayStation funds or Microsoft store balance, and GameStop will not hand the amount back in cash at the till.
That narrowness is why so many of these cards do nothing. Someone is given one for a birthday and plays on PC. Someone in Europe receives a US card, with no GameStop to walk into and a website that will not ship most items abroad. Balances generally do not expire, so nothing forces the issue and the card sits in a drawer holding real money. Selling it at 95%, the same flat rate we pay on every brand, turns credit you will not use into crypto you can spend anywhere.
What to check before selling GameStop
GameStop is a United States product and the USD card is the one we buy. A card bought at a GameStop in the US will not work at Micromania in France, at EB Games in Australia, or on any other regional storefront — those are separate companies with separate balances. Physical cards carry a long number on the front and a PIN under a scratch panel on the back, and we need both, because GameStop cannot check a balance without the PIN. Digital cards arrive as a single code by email.
Partial balances are fine, but do the arithmetic first. We pay 95% of what is actually left, not 95% of the value printed on the card: a 100 USD card with 60 USD remaining pays 57.00 USD. Check the balance at gamestop.com/giftcards before you submit. Codes usually fail verification for four reasons — the balance is already drawn to zero, the scratch panel was rubbed too hard to read, the card was never activated at the register, or GameStop froze it after a chargeback. We buy only from the legitimate holder, and Giftreo never asks for a code by email or direct message.
How to sell a GameStop coupon
- 1Check the remaining balance at gamestop.com/giftcards so you know what the card is worth today.
- 2Select GameStop on the sell page and enter the USD balance you hold — 25, 50 and 100 are the common values.
- 3Submit the card number and the scratch-panel PIN through the form on this page, and nowhere else.
- 4Give us a wallet address. Once the code verifies, 95% of the balance goes out in crypto, usually within about an hour.

GameStop resale: your questions
- Is it legal to sell a GameStop card I was given?
- Yes. A card you were given is yours, and reselling it is an ordinary private transaction. What is not legal is selling a card you do not own — taken from someone else, obtained by fraud, or bought with a stolen payment method. Those cards fail verification here.
- What if part of the balance is already spent?
- We still buy it. The payout is 95% of the remaining balance, not of the printed face value: 60 USD left on a 100 USD card pays 57.00 USD. If the figure you declare and the figure we verify differ, we pay on the verified balance and tell you why.
- How fast do I actually get paid?
- Usually about an hour from the moment the code reaches us. Almost all of that is balance verification rather than the transfer, which takes minutes. A card that needs manual review runs longer, and we tell you it is under review instead of leaving you waiting.
- Which cards and regions do you accept?
- USD GameStop cards, physical or digital. Where you live matters far less than what the card is — sellers outside the United States are common here, because a US-only card is exactly the kind nobody abroad can spend. Micromania and EB Games cards are different products and we do not buy them.
- Do you need my ID, and can I sell several cards?
- No ID for ordinary sales. We need an email address to reach you and a wallet address to pay you. Several cards in one submission is fine, and each is verified separately. For unusually large volumes we ask where the cards came from, and we decline if there is no clear answer.
✱ Selling safely
We only accept codes you legitimately own. Giftreo never contacts you to ask for a code by email or private message — if someone does, it is not us. Codes are sent over HTTPS to our verification desk and are never shown back to you in full.
