Sell your Transcash coupon

Quick answer

Giftreo buys Transcash coupons at 95% of face value — a flat 5% fee, the same on every coupon we take — and pays in crypto. A 100 EUR ticket pays out 95.00 EUR, a 50 EUR ticket 47.50 EUR. We take EUR codes of 25, 50, 100 and 150, paid to your wallet generally within about an hour after the code is verified.

Transcash is a French prepaid coupon sold over the counter in tobacconists and press shops. You pay cash, you get a ticket with a code, and that code either settles a payment on a site in the Transcash network or tops up a Transcash prepaid Mastercard. That simplicity is also why so many end up unused: bought for a service that turns out not to take Transcash, received as a repayment between friends, or the wrong amount picked at the counter with no way to hand it back.

A ticket in a drawer is worth its face value only to someone inside that network. Selling it at 95% turns it into crypto you can move anywhere: 150 EUR pays 142.50 EUR, 100 EUR pays 95.00 EUR, 50 EUR pays 47.50 EUR and 25 EUR pays 23.75 EUR. The flat 5% is the spread we work on. It is the same on every face value and on every coupon we take, and the exact figure is on screen before you hand over the code.

What to check before selling Transcash

Transcash is euro-only. There is no USD or GBP version to quote against, so every payout is calculated in EUR and converted to the coin you pick at the rate shown when you submit. The value lives in the code under the scratch panel, and that panel is the first practical problem in resale: scratched too hard, smudged, or faded after months in a wallet, and a digit turns ambiguous. An ambiguous code cannot be verified and cannot be paid.

A Transcash coupon also dies the moment it is loaded. Top up a Transcash Mastercard with it and the value sits on the card while the ticket is just paper — sell before you load, not after. Partial balances occur where a merchant draws only part of the ticket, and we quote 95% on what is actually left. Rejections come from codes already spent, already loaded, past the validity date on the ticket, or blocked by the issuer. We buy only tickets the seller legitimately owns, and Giftreo never asks for a code by email, chat or DM.

How to sell a Transcash coupon

  1. 1Choose Transcash and the face value you hold: 25, 50, 100 or 150 EUR.
  2. 2Read the quoted payout at 95% — a 100 EUR ticket shows as 95.00 EUR.
  3. 3Enter the code from under the scratch panel and the wallet address for payment.
  4. 4Do not load the ticket while it is checked; the crypto goes out generally within about an hour.

Transcash resale: your questions

Is it legal to sell a Transcash coupon I own?
Reselling a prepaid ticket you bought yourself is an ordinary disposal of your own property, and a code you legitimately own is the only kind we buy. We cannot give legal advice, and Transcash's terms and conditions govern what a holder may do with a ticket, transfer restrictions included. Codes obtained from someone else are refused.
What happens if part of the ticket has already been used?
The 95% applies to the balance actually left. A 150 EUR ticket with 60 EUR spent is a 90 EUR code and pays 85.50 EUR. Transcash tickets are more often full or empty than partial, because a card top-up takes the whole value at once. The check runs before payment, so a smaller remainder means a smaller quote.
How fast do I get paid, and in what?
In BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC, SOL or LTC, to a wallet address you supply, generally within about an hour of the code verifying. That is the normal case rather than a guarantee — a queue, a manual balance check or a slow confirmation can push it out. Nothing is released before the code is checked.
Which countries can sell Transcash here?
The ticket matters, not your address: Transcash is a French euro product, so we buy EUR tickets and pay in EUR terms wherever you live. If you are holding a similar-looking brand — PCS, Neosurf, CASHlib — use that brand's page; the 5% fee is the same across the catalogue, but the accepted denominations and checks are not. The issuer name is printed on the ticket.
Do you need ID, and can I sell several tickets at once?
No identity document is required for a standard payout; what gets verified is the code and its balance, not you. Several tickets can go into one submission for a single payment — two 150 EUR tickets pay 285.00 EUR at 95%. Unusually large or repeated batches draw a question about provenance, and anything we cannot account for is declined.

✱ Selling safely

We only accept codes you legitimately own. Giftreo never contacts you to ask for a code by email or private message — if someone does, it is not us. Codes are sent over HTTPS to our verification desk and are never shown back to you in full.
