A MiFinity eVoucher is a prepaid code whose only job is to top up a MiFinity wallet. It is not something you hand over at a merchant checkout: you sign in to MiFinity, enter the code, the balance lands in the wallet, and the wallet pays merchants afterwards. That one-way design is the root of most reasons a code ends up sitting unused.

The obvious case is not having a usable MiFinity wallet. Registration in your country may not be open, an account may be dormant or closed, verification may have stalled, or the voucher may have been bought in EUR when the wallet holds USD. None of that is reversible through MiFinity, and the code cannot be refunded to a bank. Selling a 100 EUR eVoucher at 95% returns 95.00 EUR in crypto.

What to check before selling MiFinity

MiFinity eVouchers are alphanumeric codes fixed to a single value and a single currency. We buy EUR and USD at a flat 95% across the 10, 25, 50 and 100 face values, which comes to 9.50, 23.75, 47.50 and 95.00 in the voucher's own currency. The 25 value is the one worth double-checking on your side, since 95% of 25 is 23.75 rather than a round figure. Enter the code exactly as delivered, including any grouping or case, because one wrong character sends back a rejection that reads identically to an already-used code.

The redemption model makes partial balances effectively impossible. An eVoucher credits its full amount to a wallet in one step, so once you have entered it the code is empty and the money is a wallet balance instead. We verify with the issuer before quoting and pay 95% of the balance verification actually finds. Codes are refused when they have already been redeemed, when the characters do not match, or when the issuer has flagged the voucher. We buy only codes the seller legitimately owns, and Giftreo does not ask for a code by email or direct message under any circumstances.

  1. 1Confirm your eVoucher is unredeemed, in EUR or USD, and worth 10, 25, 50 or 100.
  2. 2Copy the code exactly as delivered into the sell form, with its face value and a crypto address you control.
  3. 3Wait for verification to confirm the balance with the issuer before the payout is set.
  4. 4Receive 95% of the verified balance in crypto, generally about an hour after the code clears.

MiFinity resale: your questions

Is it legal to sell a MiFinity eVoucher?
Selling a prepaid voucher you own is an ordinary transfer of value, and you confirm ownership when you submit the code. What we will not buy is a code that reached you some other way: forwarded unsolicited, taken from an account that is not yours, or with a history you cannot explain. A voucher someone gave you is fine; a voucher you found is not.
What if the eVoucher is partly used?
It cannot really be. A MiFinity eVoucher moves its entire value into a wallet in one action, so it is either untouched or completely spent. If you have already redeemed it, the code pays nothing even though the balance still sits in your MiFinity wallet. We pay 95% of the balance verification returns, so a redeemed code returns zero.
How quickly do I get the crypto?
Roughly an hour after the code clears verification. The issuer check is what takes the time; the transfer itself is fast. We send BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC, SOL or LTC to the address you gave us. During busy stretches it runs longer, and we will tell you rather than pretend to a fixed schedule we cannot always meet.
Which countries are accepted, and does my wallet country matter?
Neither your country nor your wallet's country affects the sale, because the code is what we verify and the payout goes to a crypto address rather than a bank. We buy EUR and USD eVouchers at 95%; other MiFinity currencies fall outside this rate. MiFinity being unavailable where you live does not block the sale, and it is frequently why the voucher went unused.
Can I sell more than one, and do you need ID?
You can, and no ID is required for a standard voucher sale. Submit each code separately so it is verified and priced on its own: two 50 EUR eVouchers at 95% pay 2 x 47.50, or 95.00 EUR. To state it once more plainly, Giftreo never requests a code by email or DM, so any message asking for one is not from us.

✱ Selling safely

We only accept codes you legitimately own. Giftreo never contacts you to ask for a code by email or private message — if someone does, it is not us. Codes are sent over HTTPS to our verification desk and are never shown back to you in full.
